I finished a 67"x87" version of "Connection to Ancestors" at the end of January.
I was encouraged by Jerry Allen Gilmore, artist and curator, to paint large enough to command a wall.
I am so grateful for his life-changing thoughts. Once I figured out how
to pull it off in my studio, I was off and running.

Red Desert Mustangs was painted for a leather frame from Peru and is being sold at
Creative Framing Art Gallery, 916 Main Street in Louisville, Colorado.

Good news, Linda Armantrout was selected for NCAR Gallery 1 in November, 2009.

The body of work titled "Horse Power as Spirit" was selected for a solo exhibition
in November, 2009,  at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR Gallery 1). 
I hung the Power Images and the Glory Series, "Horse Power as Spirit",
with the additional piece, "Connection to Ancestors II" (67"x88" oil on canvas).
NCAR Gallery 1 has really good gallery hours. The drive up into the foothills 
and the views from the gallery are stunning. 

NCAR Art Galleries are located in NCAR's Mesa Laboratory
1850 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder, Colorado. We had out of state traffic. The
Boulder Camera chose the show as Pick of The Day and alerted everyone
to make the stunning drive up to the foothills.

The above paintings may have been sold. If available they can be yours for affordable prices and can be sold framed or unframed plus shipping and handling.

Frames are hand-built and gold-leafed (or silver-leafed) by Cynthia Bargman and are available only in Colorado. Maple Frames on newer work are included and ship.
